Why order thai takeout when it's easy to make a simple thai papaya salad at home! Plus you get to control the ingredients you put in. Here is a simple and easy recipe. You will be able to enjoy a fresh and healthy thai salad in no time.
Shopping List:
1 medium papaya - shredded
1 cup green beans - blanched and chopped
1 cup baby tomatoes - sliced
1 clove garlic - minced
1/2 cup cilantro - chopped
1/4 cup toasted pistachios - chopped
2 tbs fish sauce
1 tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 lime - juiced
It's that simple. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Top with a sprinkle of chopped pistachios and enjoy! No need for a more in depth explanation. I promise, it's that easy.
Tip: I like it cold. So make it a few hours ahead of time and chill. This helps to bring the flavors together.
